Misunderstanding
I had a bad feeling after I read something off a wedding forum few days back and it is only then I know that I am enaging the same Bridal shop company as her. But I kept telling myself I might just be too sensative. But I was wrong. Afterall I could sense her anger in her blog.
Unknowingly, I do not know if her previous March entry was actually pointing at me. I just want to peace things off by putting up an explaination here.
First, an outdoor reception is so common that almost all couples out there will opt for it (Am I right?). Ok, let's leave it aside. The reason to do it at my aunt's condo (The Clearwater), was because she is the only close relative that is living in a Condo.
And this reception was nearly called off cos in the first place I did not want it to happen. It was my FH who insisted on it (If you need to verify, call me and I can ask him to speak to you.) We got into a huge quarrel due to that too.
As for the catering company that we are using, (If it is the same again, then I really can't help it...) is actually where my FH is working at. So we are entitled to a good package. And halfly this is why we decide to so an outdoor reception since we got this entitlment must well make good use of it.
For my wedding bands with Fairy Inc. I was deciding to get my wedding band from GoldHeart as we have a $100 voucher. But in the end, we decided to do it with Fairy Inc. was because it is custom-made and self design. And it is within our budget... why not right? And I got to know about this company via the wedding forum. And it was my FH 's idea to want to do it there.
Lastly the bridal shop selection. In the beginning I was scouting in Marina Square. And my FH was total upset by the hard selling of Whitelink and we nearly done it with Bridal Concept. BUT because I know that my Aunt was in bride makeup line for more than 10 years, I decided to call her and coincidently, she is working at Pan Pacific Hotel for a newly wed that day. And we met her and her family up at Marina Square while she was having dinner with her family during a break.
Spoke to her about what we had seen and she decided to call Annabelle up who attended to us and we got back to the shop and 'retalk' cos now, I am standing as her colleague's niece statue now. And she gave us a good package (sorry I can't give the details of the package). But my FH was still in doubt so we decided to scout around the next weekend.
Where we were caught in between Milan and Whitelink. And the decision to do with Whitelink was because they gave me a MTM gown and Milan don't. Whatmore, my aunt is going to be my makeup artist and it is easier to go with her time at work. And she knew the photographer too. Whatmore, I trust Annebelle as she is very frank with us.
For the above story, she can check with whoever she wants. My conscience is clear. The reason of me spelling all these out was because I do not want this issue to detoirate further the relationship of me and a friend(s).
I admit that I am reading her blog. And I got to know about her big day thru her blog. But seriously, there was no mention on the bridal shop company that she is using. And What ROM idea of hers in details. I am basically working basic on me and my FH budget. What's so wrong?
